This league has been incredibly popular even after lockdown covid measures with 48 Manchester Schools taking part during 2021-22. The league has been designed to be easy to take part in and manage with a focus on enabling your team to enjoy playing matches against your local schools teams.
The full format is – teams, 9 a side, boys only or mixed gender from Y5 and/or Y6, played on a small sided pitch. Teams are entered into one of the 11 local leagues and play each other once. Teams organise their own dates and venues. At the end of the season there is a league play-off with an overall winner crowned ‘Manchester Champion’.
