This June, Manchester becomes the epicentre of coaching – and you’re invited to be at the heart of it all.
Whether you’re an established career coach looking to enhance your skills and build your network, or an enthusiastic volunteer trying to support your local community, this summer’s inaugural Manchester Festival of Coaching is your chance to supercharge your skills, network with like-minded individuals, and become part of a movement that’s redefining coaching.
What is the Manchester Festival of Coaching?
Citywide in scope, the Manchester Festival of Coaching takes place at venues across the city from Sunday June 23 – Saturday June 29.
The festival will feature a plethora of activities, events and workshops designed to inspire, engage and support the current and next generation of sports coaches and leaders.
Dive into a plethora of activities, events, and workshops, sharpen your skills with advice from industry titans and coaching innovators, and discover fresh approaches to inspire and motivate athletes.
This year’s themes are Inclusion, Neurodiversity, Adults and #PlayTheirWay, with an array of speakers and presenters from across the sport and physical activity sector.
What’s on?
Elevate your coaching game at the Manchester Coaching Festival! This week-long extravaganza (June 23-29) ignites across a series of powerhouse events.
Some highlights include:
· Lift Off (June 23): Launch into the National Speedway Centre for a deep dive into coaching philosophy, inclusion, and the #PlayTheirWay movement. Learn from coaching greats Kirk Vallis, Phoebe Schecter, and Sarah Green.
· Performance Coaching Evening (June 26): Take your game to elite status at the Manchester Institute of Health and Performance. Paul Reddish and Phoebe Schecter join forces to illuminate the secrets of crafting peak performance environments.
· Touch Down (June 29): Celebrate women in sports, delve into adult coaching, and explore neurodiversity in coaching with Born Barikor, Tony Fretwell, and Rachel Taylor.
