Paralaser and Laser Run Festival

The project was aimed on boosting the engagement and participation in sporting events within Manchester Schools, as well as promoting Modern Pentathlon through fun, inclusive and accessible Para Laser and Laser Run Festivals.

Health Ambassadors Programme

The Health Ambassador Pilot aimed to empower young people to not only make informed choices regarding their own health, but to allow them to inspire younger children both within school and in the wider community. The barriers faced by primary schools regarding transport and staffing were considered in the planning of the programme and sessions were delivered within each school and during the school day. You can read more about the programme here

Manchester Rise Up – Trauma Informed Pilot

Manchester Communication Academy (MCA) is leading the way in enhancing girls participation in PE through the Manchester Rise Up programme. The project has a focus on Year 9 girls and aims to improve mental wellbeing, confidence and engagement in physical activity. You can read more about the project here

Increasing opportunities and positive experience in the Inclusion School Games Programme

The aim of the work was to increase the participation and positive experience for children and young people by providing a wide range of SEND events. Introducing new sports into the Manchester programme, for example Ten Pin Bowling, creating opportunities to take part in competitive sport and offering a regional pathway through Greater Manchester and North West competitions. Love Rugby – Girls Rugby Programme

We are working with England Rugby and the Youth Sport Trust to introduce a Rugby engagement programme in the city.  This video is from a Year 7/8 Girls Love Rugby Festival that was delivered at the end of the first year of the project in partnership with Sale Sharks, Broughton Park RFC and England Rugby. 

Manchester PE Conference

We deliver an annual conference for staff in all schools across the city. The conference regularly attracts over 100 delegates who have the opportunity to listen to keynote speakers, attend an extensive range of workshops and speak to partners in our marketplace.
