Barclay’s Girls Football in Schools

Vision: To provide equal access to football for girls in schools! Home 

It aims to achieve this by embedding football into the PE curriculum and offering extra-curricular opportunities, which will help girls become more physically active, improve wellbeing, build confidence, and develop leadership skills. 

TeamMCR are one of many Strategic Leads for the programme in partnership with Barclays, Youth Sport Trust & England Football.  The programme offers a large variety of free resources via the website, along with a variety of programmes targeting schools, curriculum, extra-curricular & leadership and providing access to online training and resources. 

The TeamMCR Programme also includes many opportunities for girls to participate in football; leagues, cups, festivals and competitions.  Also embedded in the programme is leadership, where all our Primary Schools events are delivered and run by young leaders.
