RFU School Rugby Programme

TeamMCR became part of the SRM programme at the start of the 24/25 school year, in partnership with England Rugby and the Youth Sport Trust, Doug Martin took on the role of SRM. TeamMCR are currently one of fifty SRM’s in England, with more coming soon.

The programme aims to develop rugby union in schools, clubs and communities, utilising resources, equipment packs, CPD, competitions and an exciting new format called T1 Rugby. SRM’s are also tasked with creating links with community rugby clubs, creating and developing pathways into rugby.

Moving into year 2 of the programme for us we are excited to develop additional playing, coaching and leadership opportunities and further expand & progress the club links already made. For further information please contact [email protected]
