Sessional Staff Required for Health Ambassador and Leadership Programmes £15.00 per hour
Manchester Schools PE Association (TeamMCR) is a charity working with 150 schools across the city delivering an extensive programme of Professional Development, Competitions, Health and Wellbeing, Leadership, School to Community and Inclusion programmes.
We are seeking committed people to work for us on a sessional basis to help us deliver two of our key programmes.
The specific roles are:
Delivery of our Health Ambassador Programme
The Health Ambassador Programme is delivered in primary schools to Year 5 pupils. The programme is delivered over a 6 week period for 2 hours per week and is designed to provide pupils with a knowledge and understanding of healthy living that they can pass on among their friends.
The programme covers the following elements.
Week 1 – Your role as a Health Ambassador
Week 2 – Being Active
Week 3 – Healthy Eating
Week 4 – Healthy Sleep
Week 5 – Healthy Mind
Week 6 – Overall findings and Celebration event
Your role would be to deliver the material in a knowledgeable and engaging way.
We have many sessions running over the course of the week and delivery can be fitted to your availability.
Assistant Tutor – Leadership Programme
Over the week commencing 21st October 2024 we will be delivering the Level 2 Qualification in Community Sports Leadership over three courses across the city. We are seeking staff who are able to work as an Assistant Tutor supporting participants and the Lead Tutor. The courses will run for 6 hours per day across Monday to Friday of that week.
