TeamMCR & England Squash

TeamMCR are now working alongside England Squash to promote the new schools programme, Ready, Set, Squash, which gives primary teachers and coaches everything they need to deliver fun, inclusive squash sessions – with free online training, ready-made lesson plans and discounted equipment. It’s flexible, curriculum-aligned and works in any space, no prior experience required. 

Squash packs more into every minute – fast, fun, and loved by children. It builds agility, confidence, and coordination, while being inclusive, adaptable, and easy to deliver in halls, playgrounds, or multi-use spaces.  

Ready, Set, Squash makes energising PE simple, effective, and enjoyable. By sharing it with your schools and SGOs, you’ll help broaden schools’ PE offer and give more young people the chance to experience something new.

TeamMCR will be hosting 5 Primary Raquet Festivals which will be hosted at secondary schools across Manchester. These festivals will have a mixture of squash and mini tennis available to help develop and build confidence within those sports, which will be lead by young leaders from each host school.
