Annual PE Conference
Our annual Manchester PE Conference brings together teachers, leaders and practitioners for a high‑quality day of professional learning, inspiration and networking.
The conference is free (one place) for enhanced member schools and secondary schools.
The day features of keynote speakers, offering insight, challenge and inspiration across Physical Education and related areas. Our aim is to always ensure that at least one keynote speaker is Manchester talent, who has grown up through the Manchester school system.
Delegates can then choose from three sets of workshops, allowing for a personalised experience focused on bespoke choices and current hot topics. The wide choice of topics available, can make this challenging for delegates.
Content is centred mainly on Physical Education, but with opportunities that also include school sport and staff well‑being. Workshops offer a blend of theory and practical learning, ensuring ideas can be transferred directly back into school practice.
Alongside the programme, a marketplace area provides opportunities to network, explore resources, services and ideas that support high‑quality PESSPA delivery.
Lunch and refreshments are provided, with built‑in opportunities throughout the day to network, share practice and connect with colleagues from across the sector.
Our highly acclaimed PE conference has been described by delegates as “game changing” and “inspirational.”
