PE Subject Leadership – Everything you need to know

This training provides a clear, practical overview of the PE Subject Leader role, ideal for new PE Subject Leaders, experienced leaders needing a refresher, or aspiring PE leaders.

The course is free for enhanced schools (where selected as their chosen course), with a small charge for all other schools or where attended in addition to an enhanced school’s chosen offer.

The session covers everything you need to know to lead PE effectively, focusing primarily on Physical Education, but including School Sport and Physical Activity.

Delegates will explore the key responsibilities of the role, what is expected of a PE Subject Leader, and how to lead and manage PE across the school.

The session concludes with a structured audit activity, supporting delegates to evaluate where their school currently is and identify clear next steps for development.
