Ramadan Guidance for PESSPA for Schools and Community Settings

This specialist course led by Dr Irfan Khawaja, Senior Lecturer in Public Health at the University of Wolverhampton and author of the guidance. This course explores the new national guidance on teaching Physical Education and Physical Activity during Ramadan, developed in association with the Muslim Council of Britain, Association for Physical Education, Youth Sport Trust and Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity.

The session supports schools and community settings to confidently and appropriately support young people and staff who are fasting, with Ramadan falling annually on a cycle.
